As co-owners of TEC, we have more than three decades of experience commissioning, servicing and installing boilers, burners and associated control equipment in the Tri-State area. In addition, we have commissioned, serviced and retro-fitted equipment nationally, including linkageless upgrades to process boilers at plants in California, Kansas, Nevada and Washington State.

Edward Haupert, Combustion and Boiler Controls Specialist
Eddie is a native New Yorker who has worked in the heating and combustion industry since graduating in 1993. He has been employed as a technician for leading combustion companies in the New York area, Nevada, and California. He has completed a number of manufacturers’ factory training courses including: Power Flame and Webster burners, Exhausto draft controls and PVI water heaters. Other training includes Auto Flame, Fireye and Honeywell combustion controls. Eddie has been closely involved with Siemens combustion management systems since their launch and has commissioned the majority of burners incorporating Siemens LMV 51/52 in the New York area. He has also worked for the Clever Brookes representative in California and Nevada and as a commissioning technician for Gordon Piatt, Power Flame, and Webster burners. Eddie's technical experience and industry contacts are integral to his role as co-founder of TEC.

Andre Lotz, Combustion and Boiler Controls Specialist
Andre has worked in the heating and combustion industry since immigrating to the United States from South Africa in 1993. His background is as a controls electrician and he holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from West Lake Technical College, South Africa; an electrical trade certificate; and a SABS installation license. As a leading New York combustion technician, Andre has completed numerous manufacturers’ training courses including: Webster burners, PVI water heaters, Fireye controls, and Honeywell controls. Andre has been commissioning and retrofitting burners with Honeywell Control Links linkageless systems in the tri-state area and has done upgrades on industrial process boilers in Washington and California. He has also commissioned Siemens, Fireye Nexus, and Auto Flame burner management systems on burners manufactured by Gordon Piatt, Power Flame and Webster. With his background in control wiring and process calibration and previous experience as a business owner in South Africa, Andre has brought a wealth of technical and management experience with him since co-founding TEC in 2006.
