Environmental Issues

As a combustion company, TEC works primarily with non-renewable energy and recognizes that heating and process fuel is a major contributor to greenhouse CO2 emissions.

We are committed to improving the combustion efficiency of our customers’ equipment. This translates into energy savings and a reduction in combustion emissions.

In our strive for improved efficiencies, we believe the cost of reducing CO2 emissions can be offset by fuel savings.

TEC provides solutions for energy conservation and reducing our clients’ carbon footprints. With rising fuel costs and the strong possibility of increased regulation of CO2 emissions, we believe that an investment in energy conservation will provide excellent returns.

TEC advocates the reduction of nitrogen oxide [NOx] and promotes the upgrading of equipment to Low NOx burners. We include NOx concentrations in our combustion analysis and have experience working in the California market where NOx emissions are regulated.
